The City Kitch Announces a new Restaurant, Restaurant Constance, at its West End Location
CHARLOTTE, N.C., February 24, 2022 - The City Kitch, a commercial kitchen community that provides private and shared kitchen facilities for all food businesses throughout North Carolina, announces a new restaurant in its restaurant space at its West End kitchen community located at 2200 Thrift Road, Charlotte, NC 28208. Restaurant Constance, the new concept from Chef Sam Diminich of Your Farms Your Table, will be moving into the space formerly occupied by Counter- with a target opening in the Fall season.
With a seating capacity of 25-30 people, Chef Sam Diminich will utilize his relationships with local farms from his meal delivery service, Your Farms Your Table, to provide seasonal, fresh farm to table meals to the public. A previous UPPY award winner for Ghost Kitchen of the year, Chef Sam Diminich wanted to extend his current farm to table offerings to the public in the form of Restaurant Constance, named after his daughter. The City Kitch provides its members, like Chef Sam, the opportunity to grow with its flexible spaces, diverse community, and tools like technology to succeed and thrive.
The City Kitch has been a market leader in Charlotte for some time, starting with a converted K&W Cafeteria in the University area. The City Kitch is a community of entrepreneurs in the culinary industry with diverse concepts. Its members often describe each other as family, and each prides themselves on cultivating an environment that is safe, productive, and friendly. In addition to being a commercial kitchen facility, The City Kitch provides a collaborative and supportive community for its members. It empowers culinary businesses to focus on what they do best, prepare great food for their customers while eliminating the high-risk, capital-intensive investments associated with physical brick and mortar locations. The facility offers flexible kitchen spaces with a team dedicated to providing resources and facilitating a community vibe to help food businesses take their concepts to the next level.
